When we need to run out and pick up one or two things for dinner, we go to Fred Meyer. That place has better prices on the things we buy most often. It's also a little bit closer to my house than Safeway is. When we do our regular grocery shopping for the week, though, we tend to come here. This is where we do our bulk shop because of the good discounts.
The parking lot is easy to get in and out of. If you plan on turning left (south) onto Hwy 99 when you leave, exit the parking lot via the exit nearest the Safeway, on the side opposite the gas pumps. This will give you enough space to get over into the turn lane, which would be more difficult to do from any of the other entrances.
Love, love, Iove this store, their meat, produce and bakery are by far better quality then other stores, only issue is not enough checkers for the busy times
I really like our local Safeway store. Store staff are always kind and helpful. Produce is always fresh and they have great selection of meats and seafood. Plus, if I don't have time to go shopping the store has home delivery - just place my order online through their website and get if delivered the next day. Best grocery store in Battle Ground.
They didn't have all the condiments and peppers that's I was after. The staff is always friendly but the checkout lines seem to take long.
I like Safeway. The prices aren't as good as at Fred Meyer, but this place seems to have a better selection of foods. I'm on a pretty restrictive diet and this place has all the stuff I need. We use Bob's Red Mill foods in our cooking and this is where we go to get them.
This Safeway is situated in a little strip mall, with more stuff across the street. It's nice to go around the mall and get all the stuff I need, then do some grocery shopping just before I head home.
Needs better customer service. Seems out dated. I feel needs better displaying of products
